Senior System Administrator L3 (MSP)

We are a well-established Managed Services Provider hiring a Senior Systems Administrator L3 to handle advanced escalations, complex troubleshooting, and project support across Microsoft, server, network, firewall, cloud, and security environments. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced MSP engineer who wants to stay hands-on, work across multiple client environments, and serve as the go‑to technical resource for issues that require deeper troubleshooting. You will support Tier1 and Tier2 technicians, resolve high‑priority client issues, contribute to projects, and help improve technical standards across the team. The role is best suited for someone who has already worked in a fast‑paced MSP environment and is comfortable balancing escalations, client communication, documentation, and hands‑on technical problem solving.

WHAT YOU WILL HANDLE

Resolve Tier3 escalations across Microsoft365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, networking, firewalls, backups, and security tools Troubleshoot outages, performance issues, failed services, connectivity problems, and high‑priority client incidents Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, Microsoft365, EntraID, and Azure environments Support server deployments, Microsoft365 changes, user migrations, network upgrades, and client rollouts Troubleshoot VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, wireless, DNS, DHCP, and firewall connectivity Support SonicWall, Fortinet, Cisco, or similar firewall platforms Review escalated tickets and help junior technicians improve troubleshooting, documentation, and resolution quality Validate completed project work and resolve post‑deployment issues Identify recurring technical problems and recommend long‑term fixes Maintain accurate documentation, ticket notes, client environment details, and resolution steps

WHAT WE NEED

Recent experience working for a Managed Services Provider Strong experience supporting multiple client environments Advanced troubleshooting ability across Microsoft365, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, and firewalls Hands‑on experience with Group Policy, Exchange, EntraID, Azure, DNS, DHCP, and hybrid Microsoft environments Strong networking knowledge across VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, wireless, and firewall troubleshooting Experience with SonicWall, Fortinet, Cisco, or comparable firewall platforms Experience resolving escalations, outages, and high‑priority client issues Ability to mentor Tier1 and Tier2 technicians without needing to move into management Strong client communication, documentation, ownership, and follow‑through
