Doctor of Medicine | Pathology Location: Somerville, NJ Employer: Alumni Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 25 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Specialty RWJ University Hospital Somerset-AP-Physician-0021 State NJ Location 110 Rehill Avenue Somerville New Jersey 08876 Requirements Robert Wood Johnson University, Somerset, needs a Pathologist ASAP, with coverage ongoing until a full-time provider is hired to replace an outgoing MD. Please list any anticipated procedures/surgeries the provider will be required to perform and anticipated volumes: Pathologists will need to be proficient in surgical pathology. Frozen section analysis, rapid onsite examination of cytology specimens, surgical pathology sign-out, cytopathology sign out. Annual volume-9,000 surg path cases; approx. 25-40 surgpath cases per day. Annual volume- 1,000 cytopath cases; approx. 3-5 cytopath cases per day. Annual FNA Volume: 400 cases; approx. 2-3 cases per day Description of Work Assignment: The selected candidate will sign out surgical pathology cases and possibly cytopathology cases. Breakdown of Clinic Days/Sessions and/or OR Days: Mon-Fri, plus night/weekend call, as noted below. Schedule of Days/Times Needed to Work/ Shift Hours: Mon-Fri, 8a-5p coverage needed on site daily for the above-mentioned services. On call? Yes Patient Load See volumes above.
