Located in the heart of Pittsford, Carmella's Wine Bar offers an elevated wine bar experience featuring handcrafted tapas, thoughtfully selected wines, and creative cocktails. As a Line Cook, you'll play an essential role in delivering consistently exceptional food while working alongside a supportive team that values creativity, teamwork, and attention to detail. What You'll Do Prepare and plate a variety of tapas-style dishes with consistency, quality, and attention to presentation. Execute orders efficiently during lunch and dinner service while maintaining high culinary standards. Work closely with the chef and back-of-house team to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Assist with food preparation, station setup, and daily kitchen organization. Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper portioning. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen while following all food safety guidelines. Assist with inventory management, food ordering, product dating, and stock rotation. Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure outstanding guest experiences. Contribute ideas and creativity to menu execution and kitchen operations. Qualifications Previous experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, Chef, or Expo in a restaurant environment preferred. Passion for cooking and creating high-quality food. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Dependable, motivated, and eager to continue developing culinary skills.
