Here’s what you’ll do: Deliver prescribed doses of high energy x-ray treatment by means of linear accelerators or other radiation producing equipment to patients with malignant diseases; Supervise clinical experience of radiation therapist students; Create and maintain harmonious relationships with patients and families, physicians as well as other hospitals and associated facilities Minimum Qualifications: AAS/ BA or BS in Radiation Therapy or completion of approved AMA certified program. RT(T); NYS license or eligible or limited permit to practice as a Radiation Therapist required. Limited Permit is valid for 180 days, must receive NYS License before limited permit expires.
