Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to become part of our Pediatric ICU Float pool, addressing the dynamic staffing requirements within our Critical Care and Cardiovascular departments.

• Administering proficient nursing care to critically ill patients ranging from newborns to adults, along with their families, across all four Intensive Care Units (ICUs): Medical ICU, Medical/Surgical ICU, Neonatal ICU, and Cardiac ICU.
• Providing family-centered care as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative setting that offers numerous opportunities for professional development and learning, supported by a comprehensive orientation tailored to individual needs.
• Engaging in hospital-wide committees and mentoring new staff and nursing students.
• Available shifts include 24, 30, 36, or 40 hours per week, with orientation set at 36 hours.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

• At least one year of experience as a pediatric ICU RN is required, with a preference for a diverse range of diagnoses.
• Willingness to work 50% Day/Night rotations, every third weekend, and maintain flexible availability.

• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.

This role qualifies for a $10,000 sign-on bonus for hires working 36 hours per week (pro-rated for those working fewer hours) for RNs with at least one year of pediatric ICU experience. Note that internal candidates and former employees who have been with us in the last two years are not eligible.

An additional incentive of $8.00 per hour will be provided for all clinical hours worked.
