Full-Time Teen / Special Events CoordinatorThe Fuller Center is seeking a Full-Time Teen / Special Events Coordinator. This position is responsible for leading a strategy to cultivate a robust environment that engages teens (ages 13–22) in social-emotional awareness, workforce and career development, college preparation, and leadership skill building. The Coordinator plans, hosts, and communicates with stakeholders to execute program workshops and events, ensures steady enrollment throughout the school year and summer months, and supports the Center Leadership Team on special projects and community partnerships.ResponsibilitiesDevelop age-appropriate curriculum using a yearly curriculum guide and participant input; plan and post weekly/monthly lesson plans, workshop schedules, and activity calendars.Oversee teen recruitment, enrollment, attendance tracking, and ongoing communication throughout the school year and summer months.Promote the Teen Program at community events, high school open houses, and college fairs; maintain and enhance collaborative community partnerships.Provide teens with resources related to skill building, volunteer opportunities, career exploration, and post-secondary education guidance.Drive teens to and from planned off-site field trips, workshops, and events using the program van.Utilize agency data systems to track, collect, and report performance metrics, demographic info, and program deliverables required for grant compliance.Maintain on-site logs for teen volunteer service hours, prepare contractually required monthly reports, and issue documentation/recommendation letters as needed.Maintain regular communication with parents regarding program updates, student behaviors, and pertinent information.Work in cooperation with the Out-of-School Time (OST) Director and team to align with standards (e.g., PrimeTime) and ensure program fluidity and coverage.Assist the Center Leadership Team with special projects, events, and school-aged program partnerships as needed.Manage inventory, order supplies, and submit check requests/purchase orders for field trips, crafts, and equipment.Maintain strict confidentiality, adhere to guidance/discipline techniques in the Staff Manual, and perform CPR/First Aid when required.Represent the agency at grant-related meetings, attend all required staff/parent meetings, and perform other related duties as assigned.Minimum RequirementsAssociate degree (AA) in Education, Social Services, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in childcare or teen programming working with youth ages 13 to 19.45-Hour Child Care Worker DCF Certification.CPR and First Aid Certification.Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record to operate the program van.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals or technical procedures in English; strong English written and verbal communication skills.Preferred / Desired QualificationsChild Development Associate (CDA) credential or relevant background in Social Services.Experience with OST quality standards (e.g., PrimeTime) and grant data systems/reporting.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $50,000Free lunch daily; no nights, no weekends, no holidays!Benefits: Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision insurance options.Retirement savings plan with organizational contribution.Generous Paid Time Off (PTO), sick leave, and paid holidays.Employee Assistance ProgramTimeline We are reviewing applications on a rolling basis and will continue to do so until the position is filled.
