Step into a rewarding remote opportunity as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students at a therapeutic day school. This contract assignment is designed for professionals who excel in virtual environments and are passionate about making a difference through innovative teletherapy. This flexible position offers approximately 5 hours per week, beginning immediately and extending through June 2027. You’ll work remotely as an independent contractor (1099), collaborating with a dedicated educational team to implement individualized speech and language services for students who benefit from therapeutic support.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent school-based SLP experience
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver engaging, effective interventions in a remote setting

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy sessions individually or in small groups
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions as an SLP specialist
