Act as a coach and advisor to cross‑functional teams, guiding them on data quality improvement plans and supporting them in developing their own MVVs and analytics use cases. Business Improvement and Opportunity Identification – 30% Engage with functional teams to understand end‑to‑end processes, identify pain points, and uncover opportunities for improvement through data and emerging technologies. Design and deliver Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to quickly test, validate, and address critical business challenges. Data Analysis and Insight – 30% Conduct in‑depth data analysis and experimentation to uncover valuable business insights and support data‑driven decision‑making. Translate analysis into actionable outcomes by developing automated tools, visual dashboards, reports, or workflows that enhance productivity and business value. Additional Responsibilities – Other Duties as Assigned (5%) Define data standards: formally define and document data standards and governance policies in collaboration with domain experts. Continuous learning and research: stay current on emerging technologies, algorithms, and industry best practices to provide technological insights and ensure the team’s capabilities remain state‑of‑the‑art. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. 10% domestic and international travel involved. Authorized to work in the US. Quick learner, passionate, driven, pragmatic, solution‑oriented, comfortable with rapid experimentation and iteration. Leadership and influence: ability to lead by example and inspire others to embrace technology and data‑driven initiatives. Collaboration: build strong relationships and work closely with cross‑functional teams. Business acumen: understand intersection of data and business processes; passion for solving real‑world industrial and operational challenges. Empathy: understand unique challenges and concerns of different teams and tailor approaches accordingly. Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Robust coding abilities (Python). Experience with APIs, algorithms, and data structures. Preferred Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in an analytics, data science, or similar role within a complex business environment. Experience with DevOps tools, modern cloud stack, and practices. Physical Requirements Onsite or remote: 60% onsite. Vision: daily able to read computer screens, documents, reports, engineering drawings. Hearing: daily able to hear conversations in person and via teleconference, detect floor warnings or alarms. Speaking: daily able to speak in meetings, deliver information, participate in communications. Equipment operation: daily able to operate computer, telephone, copies, fax, and related office equipment. Carrying/Lifting: daily able to carry or lift up to 30 lbs (14 kg). Pushing/Pulling: able to move small office furniture or equipment. Standing/Sitting: daily able to stand or sit for long periods during meetings or work on computer. Squatting/Kneeling: able to retrieve or replace items on low shelving. Walking: able to walk through office and production areas, including uneven surfaces. Personal protective equipment: required safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, respirators or gloves as required by site. Eligibility & Authorization Authorized to work in the US.
