Electrical Engineer

Overview

Seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and integration of power electronics for emergency lighting inverter systems. This role will work across the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through validation, product launch, and sustaining engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Design and troubleshoot multi-kW DC/DC and AC/DC power conversion systems.
Develop and verify analog and digital circuits, schematics, and PCB layouts.
Support embedded systems using DSPs and microcontrollers.
Design and troubleshoot communication interfaces including CAN, RS-485, SPI, I2C, USB, and Ethernet.
Create and execute board-level and system-level test plans.
Participate in design reviews, risk analysis, and regulatory compliance efforts.
Utilize Altium, LTspice, Jira, and Confluence to support development activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, product management, and field service.

Qualifications

B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
3-6 years of experience in power electronics product development.
Experience with DC/DC and AC/DC converter design and validation.
Strong hands-on troubleshooting and laboratory testing skills.
Familiarity with DSPs, microcontrollers, and embedded control systems.
Knowledge of battery technologies, EMI/EMC, and power semiconductors (IGBTs, MOSFETs, Wide-Bandgap devices).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
