POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT & Epicor Support Technician to provide technical support for our information systems, end users, and Epicor ERP platform within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting ERP operations, and assisting with system improvements that enhance productivity, compliance, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience supporting Epicor ERP, and an understanding of manufacturing processes and aerospace industry requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

IT Support & Infrastructure

• Provide first- and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and network-connected equipment.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows workstations and related hardware.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, wireless access points, VPN connections, and internet connectivity.
• Perform software installations, updates, and patch management.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives, including antivirus management, security awareness, and access control compliance.
• Assist with backup and disaster recovery processes.
• Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.

Epicor ERP Support

• Provide day-to-day support for Epicor ERP users across manufacturing, purchasing, inventory, quality, engineering, finance, and shipping departments.
• Troubleshoot ERP-related issues and coordinate resolution with internal stakeholders and external vendors when necessary.
• Assist users with Epicor transactions, reports, dashboards, BAQs (Business Activity Queries), and system navigation.
• Support ERP upgrades, testing, implementation projects, and system enhancements.
• Create and maintain Epicor user documentation and training materials.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Assist with data integrity, validation, imports, and report generation.
• Work with department managers to gather requirements and implement ERP solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Manufacturing & Aerospace Systems Support

• Support shop floor technology including barcode scanners, label printers, manufacturing terminals, and production workstations.
• Assist with traceability, quality, and compliance-related system requirements.
• Support integration between Epicor ERP and manufacturing systems.
• Help maintain accurate system data to support aerospace quality standards and customer requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to IT and ERP processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 2+ years of IT support experience in a business or manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting Epicor ERP system
• Strong knowledge of:

• ----- Microsoft 365
• ----- PC hardware and peripherals
• ----- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• ----- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• ----- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time and an air-conditioned and heated office. The noise level is moderate. The factory floor is in the same building as the office. May be exposed to machinery, machine noise, fumes, and dust.
• May require occasional after-hours support for system maintenance, upgrades, or emergency troubleshooting.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
• Duration: 6 months
• Pay Rate: $25 - $33/hr.
• Location: Fullerton, CA
