Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 20 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 48.00 per week

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
At least two years recent experience in the field
Experience with EPIC and Cerner systems preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients according to established standards.
Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines.
Collect and analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care plans.
Implement prescribed interventions and evaluate progress towards goals.
Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers for safe patient care.
Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health information.
