Logistics Specialist

Position Summary

This is an on-site position in Orlando, FL USA.

Currently seeking a Logistics Specialist in Orlando, FL. The Logistics Specialist will be working in a warehouse environment with duties that include but are not limited to processing orders utilizing SAP, Inspection and Receiving, Packing, Shipping, Stocking material and other duties assigned by team leader.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Receive incoming Materials utilizing SAP.
• Inspects for damage, verify quantity and correct paperwork.
• Processes material to be shipped to our customers around the world.
• Stocks Materials and pulls Materials from stock.
• Ensures Materials for shipment are packaged properly.
• Locates and counts Materials in support of cycle counting/inventory.
• Operates forklifts and pallet jacks on a regular basis.
• Capable of working flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be flexible and willing to work any area in Materials as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by Team leader.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma.
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver License.
• 2 + years of experience operating forklifts and hand trucks.
• 2 + years of Warehouse, Logistics or similar experience.
• 1 + year of ERP experience.
• 2 + years of Excel / Word experience.
• Able to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds regularly and up to seventy (70) pounds on occasion with help.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 + year of SAP experience.
• 5 + years experience with Microsoft Excel.
• 2 + years of inventory control, loss prevention or equivalent experience.
• 2 + years of shipping & receiving experience.

Location Orlando 100% onsite

We're looking for a candidate who is available to work the following shift schedules:

• 1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

The person will initially start on the first shift (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM) and may eventually be asked to work the second shift. There isn't a specific rotation schedule at this time; it would be on an as-needed basis.

No drug test or credit check is required for this position.

• 2 + years of inventory control, loss prevention or equivalent experience.
• 2 + years of shipping & receiving experience.
• 1 + year of SAP experience.
• 2 + years of Excel / Word experience.
