AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately hire to fill the role of Prep Cook at Cleveland Heights University Heights City School District in University Heights. This is a day-shift position that works Monday - Friday, no weekends, no holidays and follows the school schedule. Free meal while working.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare specific amount of food product according to the daily prep sheets
• Gather all necessary salad/sandwich ingredients and prepare them by washing, chopping, slicing, dicing and assembling them for customer purchase
• Comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, and recipes
• Manage food inventory when necessary
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Encourage good customer relations through product promotion

Requirements:

• Culinary experience or education preferred
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and food presentations skills
• Customer service focused nature
