Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Current Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with students who have a range of learning, emotional, or physical challenges
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, support staff, and families
• Flexibility and resourcefulness in modifying lessons and classroom management
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and compliance

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver effective lessons tailored to student IEPs and unique learning needs
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide feedback to stakeholders
• Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and technologies to engage students
• Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with related service providers and parents
• Create and maintain an inclusive learning environment promoting confidence and success
• Support students with strategies that encourage independence and social skills
