Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including in-depth medical history reviews and comprehensive physical examinations
• Support the diagnostic process of surgical conditions through a proficient interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work hand in hand with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical care plans
• Provide critical intraoperative assistance, including operating room preparation, ensuring proper patient positioning, and expertly managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Manage high-quality pre- and post-operative care, which encompasses medication administration, wound care, patient education, and discharge planning

Educational Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in surgical rotations is highly preferred

Certifications Needed

• Unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• State licensure or eligibility as a Physician Assistant
