Revenue Manager

Our client is one of the largest and fastest-growing community solar platforms in the United States, with over 1 GW developed since 2018, approximately 3.5 GW currently under development across 14 markets, and $3 billion committed to continued national expansion over the next five years. Backed by leading infrastructure investors, they build, own, and operate community solar projects that deliver clean energy and guaranteed utility bill savings to communities across the country. The Role Reporting to the VP of Markets & Revenue, the Market Manager will own one to two state community solar markets end-to-end. Your primary objective will be to maximize revenue generation across your project portfolio - keeping projects fully subscribed from commercial operation through the life of the asset, managing the monthly billing credit allocation and collection process, and overseeing subscription management partner performance against contractual obligations. Own the end-to-end monthly process for allocating community solar bill credits to subscribers and collecting revenue, coordinating directly with Subscription Management Partners to ensure utility coordination is completed on time Manage Subscription Manager contracts, holding partners accountable to all terms, conditions, and required deliverables Deliver accurate monthly reporting on subscriber and revenue metrics to internal and external stakeholders Manage and optimize the subscription agreement portfolio across each project, balancing program rules, revenue optimization, customer quality, and contract tenor Build and execute a replacement customer acquisition strategy, including SOPs for new customer onboarding, partner oversight, and working with the VP of Channel & Community Partnerships to source higher-value customers at lower cost Drive subscriber engagement and retention through targeted communication campaigns and innovative strategies to minimize churn Oversee all new customer onboarding logistics, ensuring documentation and processes comply with consumer protection regulations and meet company QA/QC standards Administer third-party Renewable Energy Credit contracts as part of the broader revenue management remit This is a high-visibility role with exposure at EVP and CEO level. The Ideal Candidate 3-5 years of experience in account management, inside sales, portfolio management, asset management, etc.; ideally with exposure to renewable energy, real estate, or financial services. Contract management experience, including an understanding of how to manage partners to achieve optimal results for the company and the ability to leverage contract terms to drive partner performance Project management experience with strong organization and time management abilities Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment Self-motivated with the ability to manage diverse relationships and multiple, complex projects simultaneously Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
