Job Title Traveling Superintendent - Growing General Contractor - Sr. Living & Healthcare Construction Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year Job Overview The Superintendent is responsible for leading projects from start to finish. The initial project will be a large Sr. Living facility in Chicago, followed by assignments in Ohio or Tennessee. The client specializes in the construction of wood‑frame projects within the multifamily, senior living, and healthcare sectors. This position requires providing leadership to the project teams in order to meet or exceed project goals related to the design, construction, and quality of the project. The ideal candidate has Senior Living and wood‑framing experience, can develop look‑ahead schedules and is proficient with Procore. Senior Living facility experience is a MUST. Proficiency in Procore or equivalent construction management software. Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles. Excellent problem‑solving abilities and strong decision‑making skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Willingness to travel extensively as required by project locations. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
