Audit Manager | Tyler, TX | $120,000 to $150,000 + Bonus If stepping up to Manager where you are just means absorbing everyone else's stress, it doesn't have to work that way. You'd be joining an independent mid market CPA firm, around 150 people across three Texas offices. Big enough to offer a solid client base, real resources, and a clear runway for growth. Small enough that Managers actually work alongside Partners and have real input into how engagements and client relationships get run. At this level, you'll carry genuine ownership of clients, engagements, and the people you're developing underneath you. You'll stay close enough to the work to know exactly what's going on, but the value you bring comes from leading teams, managing relationships, and keeping engagements on track.
