Freight CoordinatorFreight Coordinator needed in the Dallas (I-35 & Royal area)Monday – Friday8:30am to 5:00pm$23-$26hr (DOE)The Freight Coordinator manages the movement of freight by coordinating with carriers, warehouses, suppliers, and customers. They track shipments, resolve transportation issues, maintain shipping records, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesProviding quotes for new customers and upcoming projects/jobsDispatch and track freightCoordinate domestic and international freight shipmentsMonitor shipment status and provide updates to customers and internal teamsPrepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperworkResolve shipping delays, damaged goods claims, and delivery issuesMaintain accurate freight records and transportation databasesEnsure compliance with company policies and transportation regulationsCollaborate with warehouse, purchasing and customer service teamsWork with Accounting team on freight disputes / issuesRequired Qualifications2-3 years Shipping/Logistics experience (FTL, LTL, FCL, LCL, small packages, etc.) a mustKnowledge of freight management systems and shipping softwareKnowledge of freight equipment types, a mustStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesExcellent communication and customer service skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shipments simultaneouslyHigh school diploma or equivalentPreferred SkillsUnderstanding of transportation regulations and compliance requirementsSalesforce CRMExperience with ERP systems such as GoldFinch, SAP or OracleProblem-solving and analytical skills
