This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. The Actuarial Analyst is responsible for assisting in the determination of rates and analyzing, developing, and validating statistical data.


How you will make an impact:

• Under limited supervision, applies the appropriate actuarial analytical tools to the data and performs preliminary actuarial and statistical analysis.
• Update actuarial pricing, valuation and forecasting models as directed.
• Refine and collect appropriate data for actuarial analysis and ensure its reasonableness and accuracy by coordination within the division.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Requires a BA/BS degree and to have passed a minimum of one Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exam; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences :

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to apply problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop public speaking and presentation skills
• Previous Elevance Health Internship experience

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $ 66,240 to $ 95,220
