Accountant-Onsite

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accountant in NYC. This is an exceptional opportunity to transition directly out of public accounting into the private sector for a merger/integration focused firm. Day to Day Responsibilities: Accountant will lead month-end and year-end close process for multiple entity locations, ensuring timely reconciliations of all accounts, (balance sheet, income statement, multiple banks, etc.) Perform detailed account reconciliations, including cash-flow, and other treasury-related accounts Prepare variance analysis, including detailed management reports Support process controls and efficiency initiatives As an Accountant, you will work with internal teams to ensure financial controls and compliance Assist with audit preparation and provide support to external auditors Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting CPA - parts passed or certified 2+ years public accounting experience 5 days in office The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
