Apply now!Material Handler Responsibilities:Loads, unloads, and moves materials within the distribution centerLoads and unloads materials from racking, floor, trucks, etcConveys materials to or from storage to designated area, using a forklift, hand truck, stand up pickerWill operate industrial truck and stand up picker to assist in loading or moving materials and productsRequired to fill out a daily inspection before starting up the forkliftAssists with routine or general housekeeping tasks as they relate to the plant’s 6s planEnsure compliance with corporate and plant safety standardsRequirements for Material Handler:Able to perform basic math skillsProblem solving skills required and to be self sufficientAble to work within a team environment to accomplish an overall goalDemonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-taskDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formatsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent2 years of forklift experience ideally in a warehouse settingExperience in a fast pace environmentPrevious experience with moving all size objects from small to largeAbility to lift up to 55lbsAbility to stand for 8 hour shiftAbility to squat, bend, and kneel frequentlyQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
