Senior Accountant, Revenue & Receivables

RH is seeking a Senior Accountant responsible for revenue and receivables. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of our accounting operations. It combines technical accounting expertise with analytical problem-solving to deliver meaningful financial insights, strengthen internal controls, and drive process improvements across our global business. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze accounts receivable and related revenue activity across domestic and international business segments to ensure accuracy and integrity Prepare timely and accurate monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses for receivable and customer deposit accounts Develop financial models and perform recurring and ad hoc analyses that provide insights into transaction processing, operating expenses, and business performance Partner with cross-functional teams to support the design, testing, and implementation of system enhancements that improve scalability, strengthen internal controls, and ensure compliance with accounting principles Support internal and external audit activities by preparing comprehensive documentation and clearly communicating accounting methodologies and results Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance reporting, and increase operational efficiency Troubleshoot escalations with a solutions-oriented mindset while delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders OUR REQUIREMENTS 4 + years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, financial analysis, or a related finance function Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and translate insights into business recommendations Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with large datasets preferred Experience with SQL and business intelligence or analytics platforms such as Oracle Analytics, MicroStrategy, Monarch, Microsoft Access, or similar tools is a plus Knowledge of credit card processing, merchant services, or payment operations is preferred Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across technical, operational, and business teams A continuous improvement mindset, demonstrating adaptability, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to challenge existing processes to drive better outcomes Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Frequently remain stationary for extended periods while working at a computer.
