Athletic Trainer

Position Overview The Assistant Athletic Trainer will provide athletic training services to University of Maine student-athletes and assist in the operation of the sports medicine center. Typical hiring salary for this position is $52,000.00, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Responsibilities Provide athletic training services to student-athletes. Assist in the operation of the sports medicine center. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required; master’s preferred. Minimum 2 years of collegiate athletic training experience preferred, preferably at NCAA Division I level; graduate assistantships and internships acceptable. Must meet State of Maine AT licensure standards. NATA Certified. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Computer proficiency required. Previous experience using independent judgment and managing confidential information. Ability to lift loads up to 30 pounds. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
