Aftermarket Sales Manager – Aerospace

A leading aerospace manufacturer is seeking a strategic Aftermarket Sales Manager to drive business growth across commercial and defense aviation markets. This high-impact, customer-facing role is responsible for expanding aftermarket sales through airlines, MROs, OEM support centers, distributors, and strategic partners while identifying new retrofit, overhaul, upgrade, PMA, and DER opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute aftermarket sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, MROs, OEM support centers, and key industry partners.
Identify and pursue retrofit, overhaul, upgrade, PMA, and DER business opportunities.
Lead proposal development, contract negotiations, and pricing recommendations.
Research aircraft fleets, operators, and market trends to identify new sales opportunities.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and marketing teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
Travel approximately 50% to customer sites, company locations, and industry events.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (engineering degree preferred).
10+ years of aerospace industry experience, including at least 5 years in aerospace sales (aftermarket experience preferred).
Knowledge of aircraft electrical systems, power generation/distribution, motors, actuators, or related aerospace systems.
Experience working with airlines, MROs, OEMs, and engineering teams.
Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills.
