Job Description Provide reliable, excellent quality customer support through on-site inspections and preventive maintenance services on a variety of fire sprinkler systems. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of automatic wet fire sprinkler systems, special hazard systems, restaurant suppression systems, fire extinguishers & emergency lighting with minimal supervision. Provide front line customer service and system inspection care. Diagnose and evaluate systems that require servicing as well as troubleshoot issues that arise during inspections. Provide solutions and/or recommendations to bring systems back in operating working condition in the most beneficial way for the customer. Qualifications Familiar with the inspections of, and NFPA code requirements for fire sprinkler systems, special hazard systems, emergency lighting, hoods, fire extinguishers and backflow assemblies. Knowledge of industry standard tools such as inspectors tools, testing equipment and communication devices required. Be proficient in completing accurate and legible paperwork, which can be interpreted by others. Ability to work in small and confined spaces (if needed). Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Capable of performing physical labor, able to climb ladders and work on rooftops. Knowledge and understanding of NFPA standards. Must be able to work alternate shifts and work overtime (if required). Must be punctual, have excellent work ethics and strong organizational skills. Minimum Requirements High School graduate or GED. Driver’s License with clean DMV record.
