Your maintenance, construction or general labor background provides you the skills to handle maintenance tasks, while your customer service skills ensure CWS residents are beyond satisfied.What Your Day Consists OfAssist with leading maintenance teamPrepare make-ready apartmentsComplete service requestsMaintain inventory and shop organizationPerform common area maintenanceParticipate in preventative maintenance programParticipate in resident satisfaction programsCommunicate with customer, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and CWS team membersParticipate in the CWS Risk Management Program and Safety ProgramsWhat You Bring To UsHigh School diploma or GED (preferred)Yardi software experience (preferred)EPA, HVAC I & II, CPO and local certifications (required)Minimum 1-2 years previous full-time work experience in apartment maintenance or a trade that requires basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC (required)Apartment maintenance (preferred)Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance (required)Own a basic set of hand tools (required)Able to read service requests, schedules, and regularly converse with team members, residents, and vendors in EnglishBasic computer skillsAble to adhere to set and variable work schedule, including weekends and emergencies as requiredAble to adhere to company policies, procedures, and practicesAble to establish and maintain effective working relationshipsAble to maintain a professional and ethical atmospherePossess supervisory/managerial skillsAble to perform work responsibilities at locations other than "home" propertyAble to travel within major metropolitan areas and may be required to attend company functions in other citiesAble to respond to emergency calls outside of normal business hoursAt CWS, our employees are like family. Position may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions, maintenance equipment, construction areas, chemicals, noise, dust, and other environmental conditions associated with property maintenance activities.Physical Requirements:Requires frequent walking throughout the property, including climbing stairs, inspecting units, and assisting with maintenance operations. Position involves standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing ladders, and lifting or moving materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
