Role Overview

Vice President, Executive Compensation – Goldman Sachs Services LLC, Dallas, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly and annual reporting and data reconciliation/mining to manage stages of the global equity plan lifecycle, including the grant of annual and off‑cycle awards.
• Conduct population analysis for year‑end stock plan administration, determining grant structures, system setup, monitoring equity restrictions, and administering delivery of shares.
• Apply design changes to equity plans based on complex global financial, regulatory, legal and tax considerations.
• Develop monthly and quarterly reporting from data analysis to determine equity treatment for terminated employees and collate final decisions for senior management approval.
• Document and analyze the impact of Goldman Sachs acquisitions or divestitures on equity compensation.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency, minimize risk, streamline processes, and prioritize system fixes with Engineering teams and external vendors.
• Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members and work closely with the equity compensation team and stakeholders to foster professional growth and career development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field with three (3) years of experience in a related role, OR
• Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years of experience in a related role.
• Experience with Excel analytical formulas and visualization tools (vlookups, pivot tables, conditionals, data structuring), supporting regulatory data reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience facilitating data extraction, transformation, and loading using Excel and Business Objects.
• Experience serving as a technical liaison between business and technology teams and assisting with website development, bug fixes, and system enhancements.
• Experience producing multiple time‑sensitive deliverables related to equity grant, delivery, and forfeiture processes for senior leadership while ensuring high quality of work.
• Ability to provide timely responses to stakeholder queries related to equity awards, including performing scenario analysis for Wealth Management clients.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for succinctly summarizing data issues in equity programs and assessing impact.
