Summary Of Work The Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency for the District of Columbia (CSOSA) assumed the adult probation and parole supervision functions from the Superior Court for the District of Columbia. The mission of the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) is to increase public safety, prevent crime, reduce recidivism, and support fair administration of justice in close collaboration with the community. CSOSA is responsible for the supervision of all probationers, those on Supervised Release, and parolees held under the authority of any United States or District of Columbia statute, or any other lawful authority and entrusted to the District. Place of Performance 633 Indiana Avenue, NW 2101 Martin Luther King Jr., Avenue, SE 1900 Massachusetts Avenue, SE 501 3rd Street, NW Hours of Operations The Master's Level Clinician's working hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except for the federal holidays. Work must be performed within the CSOSA hours of operation identified above, unless otherwise approved by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). Qualifications Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field from an accredited college or university. A full, current, and unrestricted license to practice within the fields of counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field in the District of Columbia or a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States. Training and required supervision to use the group curricula, instruments, and tools used in the Contractor's program. Copies of all certifications and resumes must be emailed to View email address on click.appcast.io Duties And Responsibilities Be responsible for conducting case file reviews, case file audits, crisis intervention consultations, reviewing, and approving written clinical documents. Provided clinical staff oversight and continuous quality improvement, monitored activities, and participated in the interdisciplinary team meetings. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for justice‑involved individuals with a wide range of mental health conditions. Provide individual and group psychotherapy, counseling, crisis intervention, and evidence‑based behavioral health services to support patient rehabilitation and well‑being. Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans, documenting clinical findings, progress notes, and recommendations in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare, correctional, and case management teams to coordinate care, manage risk, and support continuity of treatment. Apply specialized expertise in counseling and clinical psychology to address the unique behavioral health needs of justice‑involved populations while maintaining compliance with ethical, legal, and institutional requirements. Task 1: Conduct evidence‑based individual psychotherapy sessions (50 minutes) to address criminogenic risks and needs. The session topics, methods, frequency, and duration must be aligned with the Clinical Report of Findings and/or referral authorization. Task 2: Provide grief & loss counseling (50 minutes) to help supervisees develop coping strategies, process emotions, and restore emotional balance. Task 3: Facilitate a Behavioral Health Advocacy Group for supervisees with significant mental health or medical challenges to understand and follow treatment regimens and advocate for themselves with providers. Each supervisee assigned to the group will attend two sessions per week. Task 4: Facilitate a Structured Evidence‑Based Anger Management Group, 12 weekly sessions, 90 minutes each, to help supervisees explore the causes of anger and adopt constructive ways to manage and express it. Task 5: Facilitate an Evidence‑Based Impulse Control Group to assist supervisees in developing impulse control techniques. Groups will include learning to identify triggers, replace harmful patterns with prosocial thoughts and behaviors, and understanding the underlying roots of impulses. Each supervisee assigned to the group will attend two sessions per week.
