About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) who is passionate about helping seniors maintain their independence and live life to the fullest. As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) , you'll play a vital role in our therapy team, working closely with occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote our residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans

• Conduct therapy sessions with residents, including exercises, activities, and training to improve daily living skills

• Provide quality care and support to residents, promoting independence, safety, and dignity

• Maintain accurate records of resident progress and treatment plans

• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Requirements

• Active license & certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Missouri

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents with mobility and transfer techniques

• Basic knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and principles
