About the Role:
We're looking for a skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) who is passionate about helping seniors maintain their independence and live life to the fullest. As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) , you'll play a vital role in our therapy team, working closely with occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote our residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
Conduct therapy sessions with residents, including exercises, activities, and training to improve daily living skills
Provide quality care and support to residents, promoting independence, safety, and dignity
Maintain accurate records of resident progress and treatment plans
Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Requirements
Active license & certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Missouri
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents with mobility and transfer techniques
Basic knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and principles
