DNT Construction, LLC is now accepting resumes for a full-time Assistant Project Manager. Come be a part of an amazing organization. Duties and responsibilities include managing multiple assigned projects from award through project close-out. The assistant project manager will also be responsible for understanding all aspects of operations. Will need to work cohesively with the Project Manager, Superintendents, Subcontractors, Suppliers, Engineers, Architects and Clients to ensure all project requirements are carried out successfully.

Qualifications and experience include supervising project superintendents and other personnel as assigned, managing administrative project aspects, project plans, proposals and project documents/contracts, tracking project progress for compilation into owner pay estimates, obtaining permits required for assigned projects, attending internal preconstruction meetings and attending owner mandated preconstruction meetings as required, interacting with field management and field personnel, maintaining MS Project Schedules on an ongoing monthly basis, receiving change order requests/RFI from the field and submitting to owners for direction and completion, and ensuring field employee compliance with safety, quality control programs and compliance to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent certification, OSHA 10-hour Training preferred, effective communication skills in both written and oral manner, bilingual preferred (Spanish), ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals, maturity, flexibility, ability to command respect and confidence of others, philosophically committed to the objectives of the Company, high tolerance of mental stress, ability to work well at project sites in the field environment, ability to prioritize and plan work schedules and use time effectively, ability to identify and resolve problems in a collaborative manner, ability to work extended hours as required, ability to lead and motivate groups, ability to handle physical and mental stress associated with working extended hours, ability to be physically alert to any shift that is assigned, may be required to possess valid state driver's license, and ability to work effectively not only individually but in a team environment as well.
