Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating days Hours per Shift: 10 hours (0630 to 1700) Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Open Heart and Endovascular experience. Ability to scrub. Excellent computer skills. Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. This position requires on-call responsibilities, which begin at 1700 on scheduled days. Call includes weekends. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities are necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit or department. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required. A bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred.
