Position Summary Phlebotomist II – Lampasas, TX. Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with rotational weekend shifts. Compensation $21.50+ per hour. Salary base determined by experience, skills, certifications and may include annual performance bonus. Administer oral solutions according to training. Confirm and verify written and electronic orders using lab technology systems, client contact, and approved tools. Navigate a computer and enter data accurately. Obtain identification, accurately enter billing information, and collect payments when required. Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport. Perform non‑patient facing duties: inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones and using email. Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures. Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data. Maintain all appropriate phlebotomy logs in a timely manner. Complete online and in‑person training courses on time. Qualifications Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections. Keyboard/data entry experience. Flexible and available per staffing needs: weekends, holidays, on‑call and overtime. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent. Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA). The position requires effective communication in English.
