Job Summary

Occupational Therapist (OT) — Inpatient, Bradenton, FL. The occupational therapist provides evaluation, treatment, discharge planning, team conferences, family training, and adaptive equipment support across inpatient rehabilitation and acute care settings. The role requires strong clinical reasoning, collaboration, weekend flexibility, and the ability to support patient care needs during day shifts.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license; active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; willingness to work on the inpatient rehabilitation unit; critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills; weekend flexibility, including weekend and holiday rotation in accordance with facility policy.
• Preferred Qualifications: Hospital or inpatient rehabilitation experience; stroke or neurological experience; flexible, collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The occupational therapist will support patients across inpatient rehabilitation and acute care settings. Typical responsibilities include evaluation, treatment, discharge planning, team conferences, family training, and use of adaptive devices and equipment. Patient caseloads may include approximately 4 patients per day in inpatient rehabilitation and 8–12 patients per day in acute care. The assignment is available for 13 or 26 weeks.
