Job Description Part‑time position, 2–3 shifts per week. Work hours are Thursday through Tuesday, 4:00 pm to 12:00 midnight. Job Duties Animal restraint and triage of incoming patients Collection and analysis of lab samples Diagnostic imaging Management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases Administration of medications Effective communication of treatment plans with clients Surgical preparation and assistance Anesthetic management Handling of unpleasant odors and noises, bites, scratches, animal waste, and potential contagious diseases Qualifications Veterinary technician with at least 2years of professional experience preferred (not required) Registered Veterinary Technician with an active license in MO preferred (not required) Previous ER / Urgent care experience required Consistent punctuality and reliability with scheduled shifts Availability to work some weekend shifts Excellent client communication and medical record management skills Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary procedures, preventative care, and hospital operations Expertise in safe and low‑stress animal restraint techniques Proficiency in various sample collection methods (blood, urine, fecal, skin) Experience in radiographic positioning and image capture Experience in anesthesia administration and surgical monitoring Commitment to professional ethics and continuous learning Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with exposure to animal‑related hazards Pay Range $20–$28 /hr depending on experience level.
