About the Role
The Company is in search of a Dean of Academics for Business and Technology to lead its academic enterprise with a focus on innovation, strategic leadership, and industry engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving academic excellence, modernizing curriculum, and positioning the institution as a leader in industry-relevant education. This role demands a visionary leader who can foster growth, and is not afraid to challenge the status quo. The Dean will be expected to lead with a transparent, entrepreneurial, and people-first approach, and to embrace the transformative power of education, particularly in the context of emerging technologies and ethical AI integration. Candidates for the Dean position should have a doctorate in a business, data, or technology-related field, with a strong preference for those with dual fluency across these domains. Academic leadership experience and a proven track record of industry engagement, such as through consulting, executive education, entrepreneurship, or cross-sector partnerships, are essential. The role requires a leader who is a builder, a translator, and a systems-thinker, and who can drive cross-disciplinary innovation to ensure that the institution remains at the forefront of academic and thought leadership. The Dean will work closely with the Vice President and Chief Academic Officer to shape the future of business and technology education, and to prepare graduates for successful careers in a rapidly evolving professional landscape.
