CBO Business Operation Analyst - Revenue Cycle

Job Description

With minimal supervision, actively collaborates with CBO teams and payors to enhance efficiencies, maintain system profiles, and reduce errors/denials that cause inflow and preventable loss write-offs. This role may also serve as a liaison between clinical departments, information services, the Helios team, and external vendors. Participates in and coordinates system or process improvements.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, Finance, IT, or related field; OR minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, Contracting, Payment Variances, or Healthcare Revenue Cycle
• 2+ years of healthcare experience, ideally in a large, complex, integrated healthcare organization
• Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines and third-party billing rules
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and complex assignments simultaneously
• Experience gathering, organizing, and presenting data from various sources to support leadership decision-making

PREFERRED:

• EPIC system experience
• Background in healthcare contracting or payment variance analysis
• Experience working collaboratively across clinical, IT, and vendor teams
• Strong diplomacy and stakeholder management skills
