Analyze current-state processes, identify pain points, and define to-be workflows leveraging cloud-native capabilities. Translate business needs into functional and non-functional specifications for cloud-based solutions. Process Mapping & Solution Design Create detailed process flows, business models, and user stories for payment and banking operations. Support the design of integration points between legacy systems and new cloud platforms, ensuring seamless transition and minimal business disruption. Compliance & Regulatory Alignment Ensure all solutions comply with relevant banking regulations (e.g., AML, GDPR, PCI DSS) and payment standards (e.g., ISO 20022, SWIFT, SEPA, RTGS). Prepare documentation and support audits as required. Stakeholder Management Serve as a liaison between business, IT, and third-party vendors, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct workshops, demos, and walkthroughs with stakeholders to validate requirements and solutions. Testing & Implementation Support Develop test cases, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validate that cloud-based solutions meet business expectations and regulatory standards. Track and resolve issues identified during testing and post-implementation. Documentation & Reporting Maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and change logs. Work closely with PO in the Discovery workshops to define outcomes Identify Pain Points and Gap Analysis Create RFP Document & Evaluation Criteria Manage RFP process with vendors Prepare Vendor Comparison Scorecard Final Recommendation & Roadmap Provide regular updates to project leadership on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies. Required Skills & Experience Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst in banking, payments, or financial services, with at least 2 years on cloud migration or modernization projects. Hands-on experience with payment systems (e.g., ISO 20022, SWIFT, SEPA, FPS, RTGS) and real-time/instant payments. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of cloud concepts (e.g., SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and modern cloud architectures. Proficiency in process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, UML), requirements management, and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). Familiarity with data migration, integration patterns, and cloud-native services. Analytical & Communication Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Preferred Qualifications Experience with large-scale core banking or payment system transformations. Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices in cloud environments. Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
