Job Summary

MRI Technologist specializing in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The position performs a broad range of MRI examinations across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings, caring for adult and geriatric patients with varying levels of mobility and acuity. Day-shift responsibilities may include specialized cardiac and breast MRI studies in addition to routine examinations.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week, including weekend coverage. Assignment length is 13 weeks, beginning 11/16/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) certification; valid Washington state MRI license; community hospital experience; charting system experience; proficiency with routine and specialized MRI examinations, including abdomen, brain, breast, chest, spine, pelvis, extremities, trauma, diffusion, perfusion, magnetic resonance angiography, contrast administration, image post-processing, and peripheral intravenous placement.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neonates, infants, pediatric patients, and adolescents; Trauma Level I experience; proficiency with cardiac MRI, breast MRI, neonatal intensive care, pediatric intensive care, phlebotomy, electrocardiography, and biopsies.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The department performs approximately 30–40 studies daily using two MRI rooms. Patient care ranges from ambulatory patients to individuals requiring partial or total assistance. The role supports outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department coverage and may involve routine and specialized MRI examinations.
