Base Salary: Up to $180k (plus performance incentives)

Practice: Insurance Coverage & Bad Faith – Complex coverage opinions, declaratory judgment actions, high-exposure claims, and catastrophe losses for insurers nationwide.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex insurance policies and prepare detailed coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and declination letters.
• Handle declaratory judgment actions and bad faith litigation from start to finish.
• Manage high-exposure and catastrophe claims across multiple jurisdictions, including coordination with claims professionals and clients.
• Advise insurers on coverage strategy, claim handling best practices, and risk management.
• Collaborate with partners on case strategy, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation when needed.

Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates):

• JD and active bar admission.
• 3–7+ years of insurance coverage or related complex insurance litigation experience with strong analytical and writing skills.
