About the Role
The Company is in search of an FP&A Lead to play a pivotal role in the development of the financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management infrastructure. This is a hands-on, high-impact opportunity for a professional with a strong FP&A foundation, particularly in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and KPI development. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the annual budgeting, rolling forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes, as well as leading monthly performance reporting and building consolidated financial models. A key aspect of the role is to partner with operating leaders, support acquisition diligence, and integrate acquired businesses into the financial processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in a private equity-backed, highly acquisitive, multi-entity or multi-location organization, and experience in M&A transactions is essential. The role demands a leader who is a builder, highly analytical, and commercially minded, with the ability to challenge assumptions and translate financial information into actionable business insights. The FP&A Lead will also be involved in strategic initiatives, capital allocation decisions, and will have the opportunity to shape the FP&A function and eventually lead a team as the organization grows. A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required, with an MBA, CPA, or CFA being helpful but not mandatory. The candidate should be a clear and concise communicator, with the executive presence to interact with senior leadership, board members, and private equity investors. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills are a must, and experience with business intelligence and financial reporting tools is preferred.
