Handles routine maintenance requests from resident population and staff. Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.Essential Job FunctionsPerform preventative maintenance and repairs to all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systemsPerform electrical trouble-shooting and installation of new wiringInspect and maintain kitchen appliance equipment and refrigeratorsPerform general maintenance when needed, and assist fellow employees when neededSome evenings, weekends and on-call duty requiredAnswer telephones and take messages in Maintenance office. Assist in calling vendors or outside repair services for estimates or repairs.
