Join our team! Charleston R-I School District is seeking qualified applicants for School Bus Monitors. Qualifications High school diploma or the Equivalent Supervisory Duties Bus monitors supervise students while they are being transported Essential Duties and Responsibilities: An individual who holds this position must: Supervise students over specified routes according to an established time schedule Assist the bus driver is maintaining an accurate record of bus ridership Assist students entering and exiting the bus, when needed Provide support for special needs riders and Pre-K riders Enforce the student discipline code Assist in performing bus inspections Participate in required training Any offer of employment is contingent upon the satisfactory outcome of a criminal background check and other requirements as defined in Board Policy.
