About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - IV start experience - Telemetry experience - Epic experience preferred - Previous travel experience preferred Description: Every other weekend and holiday are required. Traveler will be required to float to different units as needed. Patient diagnoses include nephrology, urology (surgical and non-surgical), and benign hematology. Estimated patient ratios are 1:4-5 for nights. Candidates must have the ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage dysrhythmias. Knowledge of isolation precautions and personal protective equipment is required. Experience in monitoring chemotherapy is a plus. The unit provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy and rapid response teams. This role may involve caring for adult patients with a daily census estimated at 25. Two professional references are required, including one from a manager or director. Education must be from an accredited program.
