We are dedicated to being the leader in the application and design of innovative services, fostering new partnerships in the community, promoting excellence in the delivery of care for residents and staff, by anticipating and embracing the ever changing needs of the community we serve.\n \n * RN Supervisor organizes, oversees, & supervises assigned unit activities & staff assignments & demonstrates clinical expertise which is consistent with the established standards of Nursing Practice \n * RN Supervisor will identify & respond, appropriately & timely, to patient needs \n * Monitor, observe, & document vital signs, treatments administered, & patient responses. \n * RN Supervisor will administer medications & treatments as needed \n * Communicate and direct services ongoing or any plan/concerns/information to appropriate team members, resident, family, or medical staff as needed \n * Identify & follow disciplinary action as stated in policy \n * Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, physicians, & other vendors'/services \n * Perform RN assessment to resident's post incidents or change in condition. \n * Lead & direct emergency situations - (Fire alarm, Elopement, etc.) \n * Maintain accurate nursing report, staffing sheets, & census roster \n Requirements: \n \n * Current & good standing RN License in State of New York \n * Previous experience with geriatric/short term rehabilitation/Alzheimer 's patients is desirable \n * Progressive Nursing experience in a geriatric setting. Supervisory experience preferred. \n * Dedicated to providing extraordinary, quality, compassionate care to each resident \n * Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, & sometimes challenging residents \n * Have patience & willingness to assist any residents & co-workers \n * Have excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, & organization skills \n * Able to work well under pressure, flexible, & will work harmoniously with all staff \n * *Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but NOT MANDATED ; we continue to offer COVID-19 vaccination based on eligibility guidance from CDC \n We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, celebrate diversity, & are committed to creating an inclusive work environment for all!
