HR & Benefits Coordinator (Contract)LHH Recruitment Solutions is proactively seeking HR & Benefits Coordinators for upcoming contract opportunities with organizations across the Portland and Vancouver metro area.These roles support day-to-day human resources operations, employee benefits administration, onboarding, compliance, and employee support functions. Successful candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing confidential information while providing excellent service to employees and business partners.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminationsRespond to employee questions regarding medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefit programsSupport new hire onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processesMaintain accurate employee records and HRIS dataProcess personnel changes, including promotions, transfers, pay adjustments, and status updatesAssist with leave administration, accommodations, and workers' compensation trackingCoordinate open enrollment activities and employee communicationsPartner with benefit carriers, brokers, and third-party administratorsPrepare reports, audits, and compliance-related documentationSupport HR projects and process improvement initiativesAssist with recruiting coordination, interview scheduling, and other administrative HR functions as neededQualifications2+ years of HR, Benefits Administration, HR Coordinator, or related experienceExperience supporting employee benefits programs and HR operationsKnowledge of onboarding, employee record management, and HR best practicesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information professionallyExcellent communication and customer service skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and WordPreferred QualificationsExperience with HRIS systems such as ADP, Paylocity, UKG, Workday, Dayforce, BambooHR, or PaycomExperience supporting multi-state employeesUnderstanding of leave administration and employment law complianceHR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar) preferred but not requiredWhat You'll BringStrong follow-through and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentA proactive and employee-focused approachAdaptability and willingness to jump in where support is neededStrong collaboration and problem-solving skillsEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
