Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to identify appropriate treatment strategies.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on enhancing strength, mobility, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Utilize therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, functional exercises, and adaptive equipment, to facilitate recovery and improve physical function.
• Track patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Engage with an interdisciplinary team to collaborate on patient care, including attending team meetings and sharing insights on treatment strategies and progress.
• Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise programs and wellness strategies to empower ongoing rehabilitation.
• Maintain adherence to all regulatory and accreditation standards, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws in therapy practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our services is to cater to geriatric patients, including those recovering from surgeries, strokes, and other impairments that affect functional mobility. Our physical therapists create tailored programs that address the specific needs of older adults, using evidence-based practices to enhance their rehabilitative process and support their journey towards independence.

Qualifications

• A current state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a higher designation (Master's or Doctorate) from an accredited program.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and motivate patients and families.

Preferred Experience

While candidates with a minimum of two years of experience are preferred, those who have worked in skilled nursing facilities or have extensive experience with geriatric rehabilitation are highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
