Description

ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Retail Supply Chain Analyst supporting a growing Managed Spend Operations team. This 1-year contract role focuses on inventory health, customer onboarding, RFQ management, inventory planning, and operational process improvements supporting business customers. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy customer engagement, problem-solving, analytics, and working in a fast-paced operations environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support inventory health management and inventory planning initiatives
• Manage customer onboarding processes and ensure customer needs are met throughout implementation
• Support customer RFQ (Request for Quote) processes and purchasing activities
• Place purchase orders and coordinate inventory requirements with internal partner teams
• Review key operational metrics and investigate performance outliers
• Build forward-looking inventory plans and forecasting strategies
• Develop and support GenAI tools and applications to improve productivity and operational quality
• Partner with internal teams to resolve inventory issues and support operational initiatives
• Generate reporting and provide operational insights to stakeholders
• Drive process improvements and maintain internal documentation

Basic Qualifications:

• 6-10+ years of experience (8 years ideal) in supply chain, operations, program management, or related fields
• Strong Excel proficiency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with customer engagement and relationship management
• Experience using metrics and data to drive operational improvements
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting inventory planning or supply chain operations
• Basic data analysis experience
• SQL experience, specifically data warehouse environments
• Experience driving process improvements

Pay is $31-$33.30/hr based on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision.
