Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are looking for an entry level Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our growing manufacturing team in Murfreesboro. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity where you can hone your skills, settle into a great company culture, and build a long-term career.

• Basic experience in Accounts Receivable, bookkeeping, or a similar clerical accounting role (manufacturing industry experience is a plus!).

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and AR ledger systems.High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and data entry skills.

• Good verbal and written communication skills for professional, soft-touch collection outreach.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Payment Processing: Accurately process and post all incoming payments in a timely manner.

• Ledger Reconciliation: Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger regularly to ensure all payment postings are verified and precise.

• Billing & Invoicing: Prepare and send out daily bills and invoices, and handle the preparation of daily bank deposits.

• Collections: Perform "soft" collection activities, including sending polite billing reminders and reaching out to customers to secure promises to pay.
