Litigation Legal Assistant (IP Litigation Preferred) Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant for our client's firm in Coral Gables, FL. This role supports a dynamic litigation team handling complex commercial matters, with a strong preference for candidates with intellectual property (IP) litigation experience. Position Overview The Litigation Legal Assistant will provide comprehensive litigation and administrative support to attorneys throughout all phases of litigation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day litigation support to assigned attorneys Prepare, format, and e-file legal documents in state and federal courts Manage case files, pleadings, discovery, and correspondence Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and client meetings Maintain attorney calendars, deadlines, and docketing systems Communicate with court personnel, opposing counsel, and clients as needed Assist with discovery responses, document production, and case organization Time entry and billing coordination assistance Requirements 3+ years of litigation legal assistant or legal support experience Experience with state and federal court e-filing procedures Strong understanding of litigation processes and court deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems Preferred Qualifications Prior intellectual property (IP) litigation experience strongly preferred Exposure to complex commercial litigation matters Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a busy litigation environment Familiarity with federal court rules and litigation procedures What We Offer Opportunity to support a top-tier litigation team Exposure to sophisticated commercial litigation and IP-related matters Collaborative and professional work environment Competitive compensation and benefits package
